A banquet hall filled with guests dining at tables.

On a quiet stretch of Clark Street in Stevens Point, Lodge 641 has been the kind of place where regulars know each other by name and newcomers leave feeling like they belong. Chartered well over a century ago, this lodge draws a crowd for everything from Prime Rib dinners on Valentine's Day to bingo nights that pack the hall with friendly competition. With a 4.7-star rating across dozens of reviews, members and guests consistently come back for the atmosphere and the entertainment.

The lodge hosts live bands, charity fundraisers like the Sweet Adelines benefit, and seasonal dinners that give Central Wisconsin something to look forward to. The bar is stocked, the room fills fast on event nights, and the energy is genuinely communal, not corporate. This is a place run by people who volunteer their time because they believe the community is worth showing up for.

Elks Lodge 641 is affiliated with the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, one of the oldest fraternal organizations in the United States, with a long record of charitable giving and veteran support. Whether you are a longtime member or a first-time guest at a ticketed event, the welcome is the same.

What We Offer

Lodge 641 hosts a rotating calendar of public and member events throughout the year. Ticketed dinners anchor the social season, with themed nights like holiday prime rib dinners drawing crowds who come for the food and stay for the live music. The banquet hall accommodates large groups and has been the backdrop for fundraisers, receptions, and private celebrations.

Bingo nights are a staple, drawing regulars who settle in for a full card of games in a high-energy room. Charity events organized by lodge members, including benefit concerts and fundraising dinners, bring outside groups in and raise money for local causes. The venue is also available for wedding receptions and private event rentals, giving couples and organizers a spacious, centrally located option in Portage County.

Membership in the Elks opens additional access to lodge facilities, social programming, and a network of community-minded neighbors across Wisconsin and beyond.

"Typical VFW type place. Went for bingo. Not sure if in behind in the times but the caller was calling so so so fast. By game 17 you couldn't keep up at all. Definitely cannot buy more then 1 set of cards here at the rate they call the numbers. Also alot of the same letter numbers called alot. Found it odd that people who were playing were also able to moderate and stop the ball caller. Doesn't seem fair since they won 3 times but hey its random right? . Otherwise it was an okay experience"

"We were invited for the Sweet Adalines fun raiser. Entertainment was really good. Large group. They tried to serve the food as fast as possible. I think they missed giving us a plate of chicken, by the time it got to a group of us, the chicken was gone. We asked for more and we were told no refills until all the food was out. Then the stuffing came out very late. Most people were already done. At the end they collected all the dishes, they wouldn't even let you keep a water glass for water. It just seemed they were rushing us all night. Hopfully Sweet Adlines will find a new place for they fundraiser next year."
